Coach Pete
Coach Pete, born in North Bergen, NJ of Cuban descent, is the founder of Team Miami Blue Rays
He has been coaching Basketball for over twenty years. He played for several High School Teams including Monsignor Pace High School were he led the team in assist all year during there State Championship win in 1994. After high school, he attended Tallahassee Community College where he was red shirted and later chose coaching over playing basketball.
Coach Pete can be found coaching and assisting coaches throughout Miami-Dade County. Pete also provides Personal Training, Group Training and Team Training through coach Pete, School of Basketball.
Mission Statement
Miami Blue Rays goals are to Impact Kids lives through Basketball by providing a year round program that
includes Community Activities that will build up not only good Basketball Players on the Court
but also great young men off the court. Our program works closely in conjunction with a variety of
middle school, high school, & colleges to provide the opportunity your child needs to play at the next
level in Basketball. Here at Miami Blue Rays program our focus is development,
exposure, & opportunity to help completely develop the player on and off the court and prepare our youth
to handle life situations as they arise.
